Steve Wright—President
Stephen Wright is the founder and president of Thomas Electric Control, Inc. His more than 30 years of experience in the electrical business began with DC motors and controls in 1975 and includes diverse experience in the printing, steel, railroad, hospital, commercial contracting, and rubber industries.

Prior to establishing Thomas Electric Control, Mr. Wright was the electrical superintendent for Weeks Marine, one of the countries largest dredging, stevedoring, and marine construction companies, responsible for the electrical, electronic and HVAC systems for a fleet of several hundred vessels and company-owned shipyards.

With 6 years of experience with Goodyear® Tire and Rubber and more than 8 years with Weeks Marine, Mr. Wright is thoroughly versed in large AC/DC motors and drive systems.

Mr. Wright has been a sub-consultant since 2002 to George G. Sharp, Inc., Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, played a key role in the design and construction for the Molinari-class Staten Island Ferries, and has also served as project manager for Computerized Maintenance Management System implementations for vessel owners and managers.

Milton Korn is a consulting engineer with more than 25 years of expertise in engineering design, construction management, property inspection, machinery damage investigation and expertise in personal injury litigation relating to HVAC and electrical equipment and systems.

Luis Mario Tur—Electrical Engineer
Luis Tur is a project field engineer with more than 30 years of experience in equipment maintenance, electronic circuitry, automation, monitoring, and control systems as well as large AC/DC drives, motors, generators, and associated systems. He has worked for many firms including Lykes and Horizon Lines, and GE®. He was PLC programmer for ship boiler controls and land based power plants. He is also a certified PELCO CCTV designer and programmer and is fluent in Spanish.
